Pregnancy Yoga with Chrissie!

Sundays 10:45-11:45am

£55 for 5 weeks as we will break for Easter Sunday - More cost effective! If you are unable to attend a session then we are happy for you to gift it to a pregnant friend. Let Chrissie know if you want to do this so she can check in with the friend first.

Pregnancy yoga is a beautiful practice to connect with your unborn baby and to nourish yourself during pregnancy. During the class, we will move through gentle flows and delicious holds to strengthen you mentally and physically in preparation for birth. We will also practice techniques such as the three vital tonings (pelvic, abdominal and vocal), meditation and breathwork which you can continue to practice throughout your pregnancy. There will be plenty of modifications offered throughout the class and we will always end with a long savasana (rest) for you to fill up your cup before heading back out into the world. Please bring some light layers to keep you warm, plenty of water or squash and a snack if you are suffering with nausea. Mats and bolsters are provided.

Mum & Baby Yoga

WEDNESDAYS 11AM-12PM

6 Weeks for £72 or you can drop in to each class for £14

These Mum & Baby Yoga classes focus on making mum feel good! We will move, breathe and relax all with having you baby by your side. This is such a beautiful opportunity to get out of the house, chat to others and feel connected with your body. Take your time to build up your strength, loosen any tightness and restore. We will move through a flow and you just join in when you can - no pressure!

The community feel of the classes is a big deal, having a place to come to where you can share experiences, chat, feed, change nappies, rest all within this supportive group. It is important to listen to your body so try not to rush back into exercise you did before pregnancy. These classes are for babies from six weeks and if you have had a C-Section then please make sure you have your GP's permission before coming back to exercise. The classes are held at Yoganand Studio which is downstairs from Juice Jar.

As there are stairs, a baby carrier is recommended. If you don't have one then don't worry I will help you down.

Mats, bolsters, blankets are provided but feel free to bring anything else you would need.
